NEW Laund Farm in Whitewell will provide the location for a special production next weekend.
The B-Road theatre company will be at the Valley farm to perform Alan Bennett's adaptation of literary classic "The Wind in the Willows".

The site-specific performance is an inaugural venture for this student managed theatre company which plans to use the river and trees to bring Kenneth Graham's story to life in the outdoors. The aim of the B-Road Theatre Project is to take live performances to rural areas.

It is the brainchild of local lad Thomas Wells. Not only is he directing this performance, it is his farm which is providing the setting. Performances will take place on Thursday, August 28th, August 29th and 30th at 6-30 p.m., with a matinee at 2 p.m. on the final day. Tickets which cost £6 – £4 concessions – are available from the box office on 01200 448201.
