THIS Sunday brings a chance to visit a beautiful Ribble Valley garden and help raise money for charity.
The garden of Huntingdon Hall, in Huntingdon Hall Lane, Dutton, will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. as part of the National Garden Scheme.
Over the past five years, the owner of Huntingdon Hall, Mrs Sharman Ashcroft, who recently completed a one-year garden design course, has raised £5,000 for charities.
Her two-acre "evolving garden" includes a formal area with pleached limes, developing herbaceous beds, a woodland walk, terraced pond and unusual plants.
Sunday's open garden will also include a plant sale, home-made teas and wine. Admission is £2.50 for adults (children free).
