TWO more Higham scarecrows have gone missing!
Terry Butterfield, chairman of the new village attraction, the Scarecrow Festival, decided to chance his arm and put out another two scarecrows to publicise the event taking place in the village this weekend after two previous scarecrows had gone AWOL.

And just like the first pair, the latest duo appear to have been taken!

More than 80 scarecrows will be on view throughout the village today and tomorrow.

Visitors, both adults and children, will be able to get maps from the village hall, visit the scarecrow sites and have a go at identifying who they represent to win prizes.

The festival will take place between noon and 5 p.m. and refreshments will be available at the village hall.
