Vote Leave campaign takes flight
The EU referendum debate took to the Burnley skies this afternoon when a plane towing a 'Vote Leave' banner flew over the town.
UK firm Britten-Norman, the country’s only privately owned commercial aircraft manufacturer, was behind the display.
The turboprop Islander aircraft, painted in the aircraft’s 50th anniversary livery, circled the town four times before heading off in the direction of Rossendale.
