Hide AdKacey, who achieved distinction, said: “I chose to travel to study at Blackburn College because out of all the colleges I looked at it was clearly the best for textiles courses. The course I did has solid recognition from universities and a positive reputation.
“Throughout my course I really enjoyed learning a lot of different design techniques, which will stand me in good stead for the future. I particularly enjoyed learning about the creation of garments and various patterns.
“Alongside the multiple techniques I have developed, the course and my time at Blackburn College has improved my confidence. I now have a clear vision of what I want to do for a career and what I would like to achieve.”
Kacey added: “The tutors guided us with our preparation for vital work experience and were on hand to support us with our progression ambitions and university interviews."
