M6 closed after multi-vehicle collision
A stretch of the M6 motorway has reopened after a multi-vehicle collision forced it to close.
The incident happened between Junction 20 and 21 on the Southbound carriageway near Warrington, shortly after 1pm today (Wednesday June 18).
Two vehicles are reported to have been involved in the collision, and an air ambulance was called to the scene, resulting in the motorway being completely blocked off.

Hide AdClosures were put in place while police and paramedics assessed the incident, which caused lengthy delays along the motorway.
Transport for Greater Manchester reported that the carriageway was reopened around 4.15pm.
